Student of the Chair of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty "Energy Engineering"
From April 22 to April 24, 2019, on the basis of the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, stage II of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the field of knowledge 14 "Electrical Engineering" in the specialty 142 "Energy Engineering" ("Refrigeration Machines and Installations") was held.
Career guidance for students from Drohobych College of Oil and GasOn April 15, representatives of the Department of Technical Thermophysics held a large-scale field trip for students of Drohobych Oil and Gas College as part of their career guidance. Students of the specialty "Installation and maintenance of refrigerating-compressor machines and installations" visited the University. The tour included: Sports Manege, Reception Hall, Television Studio of the Department of Journalism and Philology, SSU, online studio, catering complex, training laboratories of the Departments of Technical Thermophysics and Applied Hydro Aeromechanics, as well as NICM students with CEO Andrew Stepanovich Tatusko.

Відповідно до наказу Міністерства освіти і науки України №279 від 28.02.2019, з метою формування знань і умінь дослідницької та проектної діяльності в сфері екологічного та енергетичного менеджменту, сприяння підвищенню рівня еколого-правової освіти студентів, розвитку екологічної культури в суспільстві, у березні-травні 2019 року відбудеться Всеукраїнський студентський професійний творчий конкурсу проектів з екологічного та енергетичного менеджменту.

02-04 квітня 2019 року на факультеті технічних систем та енергоефективних технологій СумДУ проходив ІІ тур Всеукраїнського конкурсу студентських наукових робіт з галузі знань «Механічна інженерія». На кафедрі технічної теплофізики працювала секція «Компресорні, холодильні машини, установки, станції та пневмоагрегати».
