MERZLIAKOV IURIY, senior lecturer of the Department of Technical Thermal Physics, candidate of technical sciences, became a participant in a new international project of Sumy State University, Japan International Cooperation Agency and ESD Consortium Aichi.
The project is aimed at improving engineering education. Its implementation is designed for long-term joint work and consists of three main stages.
At the opening meeting held on October 16, prof. Hidetoshi MIYAKAWA delivered the lecture "Industrial Technology Education in Japan", emphasizing the most important aspects of training engineers, including in view of the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The project involved 10 participants representing the Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy-Efficient Technologies, the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications, the Scientific and Educational Center of Industrial Engineering, the Regional Security Research Center, the Department of Pre-University Education of Sumy State University, the Sumy Machine-Building Cluster of Energy Equipment, the Sumy Specialized School of I-III degrees No. 9 of Sumy".
